BUESCHER ARISTOCRAT TENOR Saxophone sax - $174.81. Buescher Aristocrat Tenor Saxophone. Selling because I have too many saxophones. Sax is definitely used and shows signs of wear, and various repairs, but seems to play fine. Good sax for the price. Case is rough, but usable. Serial number: 442142555. It's a tenor. After Selmer USA bought out Buescher in the 1960's, Selmer USA continued to produce the Aristocrat, but in a watered down, student relegated form. From that era onward, the Buescher name became their student line. The Bundy I was the next incarnation of these. If your Buescher Trumpet/Cornet bares an engraving of an ELK on the bell, please see the note below the serial number chart. Model Introduced: 'Aristocrat' 1932-1963. Buescher oval logo HR, wooden and metal clarinets in Albert and *Boehm systems; Buescher True Tone Clarinets (possibly Penzel Mueller stencils); Buescher 400 clarinets (Selmer era); Buescher 'Aristocrat' Bb clarinet (Selmer era). Serial Numbers: 83xxxx and higher, Later models have a neck brace and 7 digit serial numbers. Identifiable by the elongated pearl RH alternative F# key; the bent brass high F# key and the AS/TS110 stamp on the bell.
